Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurate diagnosis of complex orthopedic conditions
- Lead and perform advanced orthopedic surgical procedures, including joint replacements, reconstructions, and trauma surgeries
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Supervise and mentor junior orthopedic surgeons and medical staff
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, surgical procedures, and post-operative care
- Maintain meticulous medical records and ensure adherence to hospital policies and healthcare regulations
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery through continuous education and professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Orthopedic Surgery from a recognized institution
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
- Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Extensive experience as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, with a focus on complex surgical cases
