Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant specializing in customs regulations, policies, and laws to join our Tariffs team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in customs frameworks and regulatory compliance, with a proven background in consulting or government-related environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and update customs policies, regulations, and tariff frameworks.
- Provide expert consultation on customs laws, trade compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Conduct policy impact assessments and recommend enhancements based on global standards.
- Collaborate with government authorities, customs departments, and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze tariff structures and support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare policy reports, regulatory assessments, and documentation for senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in customs regulations, policies, and related fields.
- Strong preference for candidates with Big 4 experience.
- In-depth understanding of customs laws, tariff classifications, and trade compliance.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies or government entities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and advisory skills.
