Contracts & Vendor Management Specialist
(12-Month Contract)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Al Jazeera Media Network are seeking a commercially driven and detail-oriented professional to manage the full lifecycle of contracts and vendor relationships on a 12-month contract basis. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders, procurement, and external vendors to ensure robust tendering processes, effective contract execution, and optimal value delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end management of IT and service contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and governance frameworks
- Analyze and review RFPs and Scope of Work (SOW), partnering with business stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, assumptions, and deliverables
- Manage the full tendering lifecycle in line with organizational procedures
- Conduct technical and commercial evaluations to support contract award decisions
- Lead contract negotiations, finalization, and execution with vendors
- Draft, review, and maintain contractual documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and procurement teams, particularly for high-value contracts
- Oversee contract administration through systems such as Jira and SAP, including creation, tracking, renewals, and compliance monitoring
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in contract management, procurement, or vendor management, ideally within IT or service-based environments
- Strong understanding of tendering processes, SOW development, and contract negotiation
- Experience working with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Jira)
- Strong commercial mindset with analytical and financial acumen
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Strong communication Arabic & English Bilingual skills are mandotory.
