Job Summary:
To manage the preparation contractual documents including and not limited to draft, negotiate and finalize technical and commercial inputs and terms & conditions that meet RFP/ RFI/RFQ requirements and consistent with Contract Management policy & procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading contract negotiations with vendors, clients, and partners to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Managing the full contract lifecycle, including renewal, amendment, and termination processes.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with legal, finance, and operational teams to resolve any contract-related issues or disputes.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Developing and maintaining robust contract management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Providing guidance, and mentorship to other relevant stakeholders.
Qualification and skills:
- As Minimum, UAE MOE recognized bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or management; SAP ARIBA hands-on experience is desirable. Contracts, Procurement, and supply-chain-related Certifications preferred (CPCM, CFCM, CIPS, ISM, etc.)
- 5+ years of Contract Management experience in public/private sector organization.
- Strong understanding of contractual approaches, contractual terminology, and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex terms clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate contractual risks.
