Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Controller with extensive experience in high-rise construction projects. The role will focus on monitoring project budgets, tracking actual costs, and ensuring financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

The candidate must have hands-on experience managing cost control for tower projects in the UAE and be fluent in Arabic.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs against approved budgets
• Track commitments, variations, and change orders
• Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts
• Identify cost overruns and implement corrective measures
• Coordinate with site, procurement, and finance teams
• Review subcontractor payments and cost variations
• Support cash flow management and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and commercial procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 58 years of UAE experience in high-rise/tower projects
• Strong experience in post-contract cost control and reporting(not finance/accounting only)
• Advanced Excel skills (cost tracking, forecasting, pivot tables, reporting)
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts preferred
• Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying background preferred
• Construction industry experience is mandatory
• Fluent Arabic speaker (spoken and written) Mandatory
