Job Overview:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting insights from complex datasets to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth. With a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills, you will transform raw data into actionable insights that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions. This role will have a strong focus on supporting our
Operations and Fleet teams, helping them to analyze data, uncover insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Job Responsibilities:
- 1-SQL Database Management:
- Build and maintain SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance
- Oversee the maintenance of databases and coordinate with data engineers to address any performance issues
- Optimizing data performance
- Handling all data extraction requests by creating queries on our SQL database
- 2- Data Extraction and Visualization:
- Develop and implement efficient data extraction processes from various sources
- Create visually appealing and insightful data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
- Apply data visualization best practices to enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization
- 3- Team Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights and recommendations
- Work closely with the Operations and Fleet teams to understand their data needs, analyze operational and fleet data and operations challenges, and provide insights to improve efficiency and decision-making
- Partner with the planning/performance team
- 4- Additional Duties:
- Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the field of data analytics
- Foster a data-driven culture within the organization, promoting the use of data for decision-making at all levels
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science
- It's preferred to have tech startup experience
- 3-5 Years of experience as a Data Analyst
- Strong proficiency in SQL database management
- The ability to use data visualization using tools such as Python, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Python coding for data analytics and automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
