Role Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in end-to-end ETL pipeline implementation and mandatory experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF). The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines to support business-critical data processing and integration needs.
This is a remote contract role, available as either:
Full-time engagement for 23 months, or
Part-time engagement, with a minimum of 2 hours daily collaboration during UAE working hours
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL pipelines ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance
- Implement robust ETL frameworks incorporating:
- Auditing and logging mechanisms
- Exception handling and error recovery
- Dynamic and metadata-driven pipeline design
- Develop and manage data workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Perform complex data transformations and optimizations using SQL
- Build data processing and automation solutions using Python
- Support data migration, integration, and system interoperability initiatives
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize data pipelines and performance issues
- Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders during UAE working hours
Qualification & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in Azure Data Engineering or cloud platforms are an advantage
Minimum Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale ETL solutions
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
