We are hiring for Senior Data Engineer to join one of our client based out of UAE.
Role- Senior Data Engineer
Location- 100% remote
Contract- 6 months & extendable
Job Responsibilities-
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines with strong SQL (transformations, joins, performance)
- Python + PySpark (Databricks notebooks)
- Knowledge of Data ingestion patterns (batch, API/file, incremental)
- Data Quality profiling engineering (nulls, duplicates, outliers, format checks)
- Implement DQ rules with proper outputs (scores, failed-record logs, run logs) and exception handling
- Experience in setting up monitoring (logging, alerts, reruns, auditability)
- Data modelling Knowledge (Conceptual, Logical and Physical)
- Testing & UAT support (data validation, reconciliation
Requirements & Skills-
- 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in writing complex queries, transformations, joins, and performance optimization.
- Solid experience in Python and PySpark, particularly working with Databricks notebooks.
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT pipeline development, including design, implementation, and optimization.
