Core Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in the execution and delivery in key areas:

• Strategic Implementation: Apply Machine Learning and Operations Research methodologies to solve complex problems for major UAE companies across diverse industries.
• Product Development: Design, develop, and deploy standalone AI products and enterprise solutions from initial concept through to production.
• Technical Excellence: Ensure the robust and scalable implementation of all AI models and systems.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria and is prepared to excel in a high-performance environment.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a Data Scientist or similar quantitative role.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent English is mandatory for effective communication with our international team and clientele.
• Technical Foundation: Demonstrated expertise across the following core stack: Python, Git, Docker/Kubernetes, Postgres (or similar RDBMS/NoSQL), and experience with at least one major Cloud Platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Machine Learning Expertise:

• Data Analysis & Modeling: Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and advanced boosting techniques (CatBoost, LightGBM).
• Model Interpretation: Experience utilizing tools like SHAP for model explainability.
• Visualization: Proficient use of libraries such as Matplotlib and Seaborn.

Advanced AI Systems (Highly Valued):

Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, including:

• Frameworks: LangChain.
• Models & Ecosystems: Working knowledge of models like Llama and Qwen, and utilizing the Hugging Face and OpenAI/ChatGPT ecosystems.
