Role Summary
This role is critically necessary to ensure the Data Team can successfully meet its core OKRs, particularly those related to Data Governance, Unified Data Warehouse (DWH) construction, and financial risk data support.
Role Responsibilities
The new Senior Data Engineer will primarily be responsible for the following areas:
- DWH Architecture and Modeling: Driving the architectural design of the Financial Data Warehouse (DWH) and core dimensional modeling (e.g., user, order, repayment, and risk feature domains) to ensure high performance, stability, and scalability.
- SSOT Delivery: Taking ownership of implementing the Single Source of Truth for key business KPIs across all products.
- Data Quality Assurance: Establishing rigorous data quality checks and monitoring for critical financial fact tables and risk features, using both automated and manual processes.
Requirements
We seek a candidate with the following non-negotiable experience and skills to ensure immediate, high-impact contributions:
- Senior Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in big data platform development and maintenance, proficient in technologies like HIVE/Spark/Flink, with extensive experience in DWH Modeling, ETL design, and optimization.
- Strong Governance Skills: Proven, hands-on experience in building a data governance system from scratch, including familiarity with metadata management tools and formal data quality methodologies.
- Financial Services Domain (Mandatory):Must possess deep data experience in the financial, credit, payments, or risk control sectors. They must intimately understand the core financial business processes and data models related to loan origination, repayment, delinquency, and risk feature engineering.
