Senior Database Administrator (DBA) | High growth Scale up - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Would you like to build the data backbone for mission critical systems We are looking for a Senior DBA to own the performance, security, and scalability of our mission-critical data platforms.
The Core Mission
- Build and operate high-availability container platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Manage automated delivery via GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker.
- Oversee NGINX (Ingress/Gateways), manage PKI/TLS certificates, and implement WAF/API security best practices.
- Support connectivity and performance for PostgreSQL and ClickHouse; drive reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Design DR strategies and maintain Infrastructure as Code via Terraform/Ansible across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or similar
- 7+ years of expertise managing large-scale relational databases in high-traffic production environments.
- Proven track record with OLAP or high-performance analytical data stores.
- Deep understanding of data-at-rest encryption, lifecycle key management, and meeting rigorous industry security standards.
- Mastery of distributed system architecture, including high availability configurations, multi-region replication, and robust disaster recovery planning.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containerized databases, and automation tools
