Integrant is Hiring a Senior Database Administrator (SQL Server & Azure)!

Responsibilities

  • Manage SQL Server and Azure cloud databases
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes
  • Monitor system's health and performance
  • Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
  • Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
  • Provide suggestions for solutions
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
  • Provide support for critical production systems within us time-zone/from Monday to Friday
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
  • Managing Backup strategy
  • Tuning T-SQL queries to improve performance

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of database administration experience in hybrid environments (on-premises data centers and Azure cloud platforms)
  • Expert-level, hands-on experience with SQL Server administration, including implementing and supporting SQL Always On and Distributed Availability Groups
  • Experience automating routine tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Good experience with Linux operating systems and Windows Server administration
  • Good knowledge in Kubernetes administration and container orchestration
  • Good understanding of networking, storage, and security principles in containerized environments
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
  • Experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server and Azure cloud database service
  • Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Azure Database Administrator Associate certifications is a plus
  • Azure Data Factory provisioning and administration is a plus
