The role
We are looking for a Demand Planning & Allocation Manager to support our product and retail teams in optimizing stock availability and driving commercial performance across our store network.
This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and operations. It plays a critical role in translating large volumes of sales and inventory data into actionable decisions that impact product availability, sell-through, and overall store performance.
You will work closely with Store Product Management, Buying, Merchandising, and Retail teams to ensure that the right products are available in the right locations at the right time.
This position requires a highly analytical mindset, strong business understanding, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, international retail environment.
Key responsibilities
Lead demand forecasting and stock planning across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and seasonal strategies
Develop allocation models and inventory strategies to maximize product availability and optimize stock distribution across stores
Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to improve sell-through, reduce stock imbalances, and optimize inventory flow
Partner with merchandising and retail teams to anticipate demand shifts and adjust planning assumptions accordingly
Support business decision-making through advanced analytics, forecasting tools, and performance tracking
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between planning, buying, and store operations
Continuously improve planning processes, tools, and methodologies to increase accuracy and efficiency
Profile requirements
Strong experience in demand planning, allocation, distribution, or retail analytics
Strong background in retail planning, merchandising analytics, or business controlling within a fast-paced retail environment
Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and planning/forecasting tools
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
Strong understanding of retail KPIs, stock management, and product lifecycle dynamics
Experience working in international retail environments with multi-market exposure
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
