Senior Demand Planner
The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting and managing the demand for products to ensure that inventory levels are optimized, ensuring product availability while minimizing overstock. This role requires close collaboration with the sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align the forecast with market trends, promotions, and sales plans
Demand Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts for products using historical data, sales trends, and market intelligence.
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and finance teams to adjust forecasts based on promotions, seasonal changes, and new product introductions.
- Ensure that forecasts are accurate and updated regularly, taking into account changes in demand patterns or external factors.
Inventory Management:
- Analyze and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability without excessive stock levels.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure that inventory levels meet demand without overstocking or stock outs.
- Optimize the inventory flow based on demand forecasts and inventory policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of demand forecasting techniques and inventory management best practices.
