Job Title: Senior Design Engineer - Architecture
Sector/Business Line: Elsewedy Electric T&D.
Scope: Transmission & Distribution.
Department: Engineering
Job Location: Head Office.
Accountabilities:
- Preparing the arch drawings time schedule and coordinating with the project manager..
- Preparing the arch drawings and the details.
- Follow up with the design office at every design stage to be sure that the design criteria, optimization of design, and the final bill of quantities will fall within the project budget. Drawings to be checked prior to issuing it to the client for approval.
- Co-ordinate with other concerned departments to be sure that coordination with other activities has been taken into consideration e.g., indoor lighting, fire detection, cable trenches, openings, HVAC, outdoor lighting, lighting pole foundation.
- Regular site visits (if needed) to check and report work progress.
Conducting visits either to the consultant or client, where applicable, for clarifications and expediting the approvals.
Direct Manager: Technical Office Manager.
Education Background:
- Experience: 5-7 years
- Bachelor's degree in architecture engineering
- Tools: Microsoft office, Design programs (Revit, Autodesk, BIM)
- Industry Knowledge: Engineering, construction, or energy projects; contract management (Substations & OHTL Projects)
