The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre, experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leads health, safety, wellbeing, and security culture across the project, empowering teams to follow procedures and conduct safety investigations, inspections, and audits.

  • Integrates a customer-first approach into project planning and delivery, while demonstrating leadership behaviours aligned with organizational values and fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Provides inclusive leadership in design and engineering management, ensuring successful delivery of integrated design through collaboration with discipline leads and stakeholders.

  • Manages project delivery and change processes, ensuring robust communication with contractors and consultants, and alignment with time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.

  • Implements project management tools and processes, supporting transparency, standardization, and continuous improvement, while coordinating cross-functional activities.

  • Supports commercial and procurement efforts, including scope development, market engagement, risk identification, and compliance with contractual requirements.

  • Ensures digital documentation discipline, overseeing design reviews, document control via Aconex, and stakeholder approvals throughout project stages.

  • Leads and participates in key project activities, including design meetings, site inspections, training, executive reporting, and post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.

You'll need to have:

  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Civil Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, Property Management & Construction, Building Surveying

  • Higher National Diploma: Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.

  • 15+ years of experience in project management, leading complex design projects from initiation to completion within Rail environment.
