About Your Team

You'll report to the Operations Manager and lead a team of Design Manager and Coordinators. The Design Team manages and integrates all design activities across projects, ensuring coordination between consultants, subcontractors, site teams, and stakeholders.

We're a team that thrives in a fast-paced environmentsolving problems proactively, navigating technical complexity, and driving execution without compromising on design quality.

Your Role

As Senior Design Manager, you will:

• Lead the fit-out design process across all stagesconcept, schematic, design development, and construction.
• Oversee all drawing submissions, approvals, mock-ups, and design-related RFIs.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, authority requirements, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with consultants and subcontractors to resolve design issues and deliver coordinated solutions.
• Review and validate all shop drawings and materials to ensure alignment with the design intentespecially for museum-grade finishes, showcases, and specialty lighting systems.
• Provide input on temporary works, value engineering, and commercial claims.
• Drive BIM-based design coordination, clash detection, and 3D visualization to optimize integration across trades.
• Mentor and manage junior design staff, promoting technical growth and consistency across projects.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 13+ years of design management experience in high-endfit-out projects, with proven involvement in museum, cultural, or exhibition developments.
• Education: Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
• Software & BIM Expertise: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 platforms.
• Design Oversight: Deep understanding of authority regulations, buildability, FF&E integration, and museum-specific design requirements.
• Leadership: Strong team leadership, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
• Detail-Focused: Committed to technical accuracy, design integrity, and timely delivery at every phase.
