They have successfully executed a vast number of building and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia and across the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.

TheRole:
  • Tomanagethedesignandtenderstagesof majorbuildingprojectsfrominitialconcept throughthevariousdesignphasestoissueof tenderdocumentationas wellasthetender processleadingtoawardofconstructioncontracts.
  • ReportingtoassignedProjectDirectorand/orSeniorManagement,theappointment involvesactingasthefirmsseniorrepresentativeinalltechnicalmatterswithclientsas wellasmanagingresourcesandcontrollingprogressandinternalexpendituretoensure successfulcompletionof projectswithinbudgetandtothesatisfactionofclients.
  • Inadditiontomanagementofactiveprojects,therolealsoinvolvespreparationof technicalandfinancialproposalsfornewprojectsifneeded.

Responsibilities:
  • Planningandorganizinginternalmanpowerandresourcesoverthedurationof projects.
  • Ensuringthatworkduringthedesignandtenderstagesisexecutedinaccordancewith contractualrequirementsandthefirmsobjectivesintermsofqualityandcost.
  • Ensuringthatclientobjectivesinrespectof projectbudgetandprogrammearemet.
  • Ensuringthatallnecessaryregulatoryapprovalsareobtained.
  • Ensuringpropercoordinationbetweenallarchitecturalandengineeringdesign disciplines.
  • Interfacingandcoordinatingwithjointventurepartners/internationaldesignconsultants whereapplicable.
  • Procuringand/ormanagingspecialistsub-consultantserviceswhererequired.
  • .Preparingtechnicalandfinancialinputstoproposalsfor newprojects.



Requirements
  • SuitablecandidateswillholdaBachelorsDegreeinArchitectureEngineering.
  • Musthaveatleast15yearsexperienceinarchitecturalengineeringdesignofmajor building projects.
  • 3yearsofwhichshouldhavebeeninamanagerialrole.
  • Thoroughknowledgeoftheirspecificfieldofexpertise.
  • Candidatesshouldhavegoodall-roundknowledgeandunderstandingof thebuilding designprocess,includingtechnicalaspectsofthevariousarchitecturalandengineering disciplinesaswellasprojectcostcontrol,valueengineeringandscheduling requirements.
  • Candidateswillalsobefamiliarwithinternationalstandardsfordesign,methodsof measurementandformsofcontractforconstructionprojects.
  • Provenleadershipand organizationalabilitieswiththecapabilityandpersonalityto leadlargemulti-disciplinaryprojectdesignteams.
  • A highlevelofcommunicationandpresentationskills.
  • Knowledgeandexperienceof qualitymanagementandqualitycontrolprocedures applicabletothedesignprocess.
  • Familiaritywithmoderndesignofficemanagementsystems.
  • A highdegreeofcomputerliteracy.
