Job Purpose
The Development Senior Specialist supports the planning and execution of real estate development projects across their lifecycle, from concept and feasibility to delivery.
The role focuses on feasibility analysis, coordination with consultants, tracking project progress, and supporting financial and operational aspects to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with company strategy.
Tasks, Roles & Responsibilities
1. Feasibility & Development Analysis
- Support preparation of feasibility studies, financial models, and business cases
- Analyze project viability including costs, revenues, and return metrics
- Assist in evaluating land acquisition opportunities and development potential
2. Project Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with consultants (design, engineering, planning) throughout project phases
- Track project progress across design, approvals, and execution stages
- Ensure alignment between project scope, timelines, and development strategy
3. Authorities & Approvals
- Support in securing required permits, NOCs, and approvals from relevant authorities
- Follow up on submission timelines and regulatory requirements
4. Financial & Budget Tracking
- Assist in monitoring project budgets, cash flow, and cost control
- Track actual vs. planned financial performance
- Support reporting on project financial status
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Projects / Construction
- Finance
- Legal
- Marketing & Commercial
- Ensure smooth coordination across all development stakeholders
6. Risk Monitoring & Reporting
- Identify potential project risks and support mitigation planning
- Prepare periodic project reports and status updates
- Support senior management with project insights and analysis
7. Documentation & Process Compliance
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and development procedures
Experience
- 47 years of experience in real estate development
- Experience in developers ) preferred
