Job Profile
We are recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer to take charge of all aspects of deployment, monitoring, and security of our platform. The Senior DevOps Engineer will report to the Technical Lead and have the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate on regular basis with the development team to support the implementation of new functionalities.
- Build solutions to monitor the platform, from raising technical errors to building relevant business metrics.
- Continuously improve the developer experience by enhancing our CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
- Manage platform security, from infrastructure to application level.
- Work on platform scalability by optimizing infrastructure costs.
As a startup, we seek someone who is proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Required Competenties
- Strong experience with AWS, including intensive use of ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, CloudWatch, EventBridge, STS, Security Hub, etc.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Terraform Cloud. Experience with the Serverless Framework is a plus.
- Experience with containerization (Docker).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (we use GitHub Actions and CodeBuild).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (currently using CloudWatch, with plans to introduce Grafana).
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with multi-account AWS architectures.
- Experience in cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure.
