Role Overview
We are working with a prominent and fast semi government group to appoint a Senior Director of Business Development. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving commercial strategy, unlocking new revenue streams, and maximizing the value of a diverse asset portfolio across the UAE.
This position goes beyond traditional business development it requires a commercially astute leader who can identify market opportunities, structure complex deals, and build strategic partnerships that deliver sustainable, long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the development and execution of a forward-thinking commercial and business development strategy aligned with overall organizational objectives
Identify, evaluate, and execute new business opportunities, including acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and innovative revenue models
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis, translating insights into actionable strategies that enhance asset performance
Develop robust feasibility studies and business cases, ensuring all opportunities meet financial and strategic return thresholds
Drive revenue optimization initiatives, including tenant mix strategy, leasing enhancements, and new monetization channels across assets
Play a key role in investor engagement, delivering clear performance updates and building confidence in the portfolio's growth trajectory
Collaborate closely with internal leadership teams to ensure alignment across commercial, financial, and operational priorities
Represent the organization at industry events, forums, and key stakeholder meetings, strengthening market presence and partnerships
Skills, Experience & Competencies :
710+ years of experience in business development, investments, or commercial real estate, with a strong track record in deal origination and execution
Demonstrated success in leading complex negotiations and closing high-value transactions
Strong expertise in real estate markets, investment analysis, and financial modelling
Ability to translate market intelligence into strategic growth initiatives
Highly developed stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging investors, developers, and government entities
A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-focused approach
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing capabilities
Availability:
