Job Description

Lead and expand business development initiatives by identifying and securing new revenue streams, partnerships and investment opportunities for 7X Assets in alignment with 7X's strategic objectives.

Strategy, Policy and Procedure

  • Support the GM in shaping the long-term commercial strategy for the asset portfolio.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to diversify and maximize asset revenues.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement policies, procedures, and frameworks specific to business development activities, including opportunity evaluation, partnerships, acquisitions, and investor relations.
  • Identify, evaluate and negotiate new opportunities including acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships.
  • Deal with sensitive and confidential information related to work with discretion to protect the interests of the company.

Market Intelligence & opportunities

  • Monitor real estate and investment market trends, economic conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Prepare feasibility studies and business cases for potential projects, ensuring strong financial returns.
  • Recommend innovative business models to enhance asset utilization and income streams.
  • Provide recommendations to the GM Asset Management on property leasing/sale policy updates to support strategic growth and market competitiveness.

Revenue Optimization

  • Oversee strategic tenant mix planning and partnerships to maximize rental yields.
  • Identify new products and services that can be monetized within the asset portfolio.
  • Drive investor relations by providing transparent performance updates and fostering confidence in 7X's assets.

Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Contribute to business planning, budget preparation, and revenue forecasting.
  • Track and report KPIs related to revenue growth, market expansion and investment returns.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and risk management policies in all business development activities.

Synergies with Stakeholders

  • Build and sustain relationships with investors, developers, government agencies, and strategic partners.
  • Represent 7X at industry forums, exhibitions and networking events to promote the organization's asset offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal directors (Leasing, Facilities & Engineering) to ensure integrated business solutions.

Other Tasks

  • Perform any other responsibilities relating to this job request or work task as allocated by the Line Manager.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.

Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in business development, investment, or commercial real estate, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role with proven track record in deal origination, negotiation, and execution.
