At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow. We are seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to support the delivery of one of the world's most ambitious infrastructure developments in NEOM.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing project information and document control processes, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, accessibility, and governance of project records across multiple stakeholders. Working closely with project teams, consultants, contractors, and client representatives, you will play a key role in supporting efficient project delivery through best-in-class document management practices.

At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow. We are seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to support the delivery of one of the world's most ambitious infrastructure developments in NEOM.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing project information and document control processes, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, accessibility, and governance of project records across multiple stakeholders. Working closely with project teams, consultants, contractors, and client representatives, you will play a key role in supporting efficient project delivery through best-in-class document management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day document control activities across the project lifecycle.
- Manage and control incoming and outgoing technical documentation, correspondence, RFIs, and transmittals.
- Ensure compliance with project document control procedures, naming conventions, revision management, and quality standards.
- Maintain and administer project information within EDMS platforms such as Aconex and SharePoint.
- Monitor document review workflows and drive timely submissions, reviews, approvals, and closeout activities.
- Produce accurate reporting on document status, KPIs, overdue actions, and project performance metrics.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure consistent application of document control processes.
- Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure document integrity, traceability, and governance requirements are maintained.
- Provide guidance and training on EDMS systems and document management best practices.
- Support project teams in maintaining auditable and compliant project records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Document Control within large-scale infrastructure, transportation, construction, or engineering projects.
- Strong experience with Aconex, SharePoint, or similar EDMS platforms.
- Thorough understanding of document lifecycle management, revision control, metadata management, and information governance.
- Experience coordinating document control activities across multiple contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel reporting and analysis.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
