Senior Draughtsman
We are seeking a Senior Draftsman - Electrical - Junior Application Engineer with expertise in preparing 2D and 3D general arrangement drawings for standard and non-standard HVAC units. This role involves assisting engineers in accessory selection and creating layout drawings or wiring diagrams for customized units and contract review forms.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare layout, piping, and electrical wiring drawings for work orders, CRFs, catalogues, and IOMs.
- Release drawings and BOMs to the shop floor as per schedule.
- Maintain technical documentation including CAD drawings, BOM, design calculations, and specifications.
- Perform loading point calculations and line sizing.
- Prepare nameplate templates and maintenance spacing drawings.
- Assist engineers with accessory selection and refrigerant charge calculations.
- Deliver as-built drawings post-production.
Core Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical systems, HVAC systems, layouts, wiring, components, and symbols.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, Revit, and Autodesk Inventor.
- Skilled in 2D and 3D modeling, drafting, and Microsoft Office tools.
Education & Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
