Seeking an experienced Resident Engineer / Senior Engineer to join our international consultancy in Qatar supporting the delivery of a Data Centre project
This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with an electrical engineering background (mechanical backgrounds will also be considered) and proven experience working within an engineering consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage design and construction phases
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Undertake design reviews to ensure technical compliance, quality, and constructability
- Provide construction supervision, monitoring progress, quality, cost, and programme
- Oversee project controls including scope, risk, budget, and schedule
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and best practices for mission-critical facilities
- Support client engagement and reporting at senior stakeholder level
Key Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mechanical Engineering may be considered)
- 15+ years experience delivering projects within an engineering consultancy
- Strong background in data centres or other mission-critical / complex infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience in design review, construction supervision, and project management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to start within 1 Month
