We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in interior fit-out and construction projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare electrical designs, shop drawings, load calculations, and technical submittals for fit-out projects
- Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, contractors, and project managers for smooth project execution
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Supervise installation of electrical systems including lighting, power, ELV, and fire alarm systems
- Ensure all work complies with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and local authority regulations
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve technical issues on-site
- Manage subcontractors and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Prepare project documentation including reports, as-built drawings, and handover documents
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations and authority approvals
- Experience in handling commercial, residential, and retail fit-out projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software
- Good understanding of MEP coordination and site execution
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
