Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Casework & Beneficiary Support

• Conduct needs assessments and provide appropriate case management.

• Deliver psychosocial support and referrals to beneficiaries.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all cases.

• Undertake visits to beneficiary sites for inspecting and vetting process

• Prepare periodical reports, case summaries as and when required by the management

Program Implementation & Community Outreach

• Support execution of workshops, awareness, volunteering & fund-raising campaigns, and outreach initiatives.

• Conduct field visits, meetings with vendors and partners to ensure effective delivery of programs. • Mobilize community members to participate in Foundation initiatives.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Coordinate with internal teams, program managers, and external partners.

• Prepare reports, case studies, and beneficiary feedback for monitoring and evaluation.

• Escalate sensitive or complex cases to the Program Manager or Director General.

Compliance & Professional Standards

• Ensure safeguarding, protection, and confidentiality of all beneficiary data.

• Comply with organizational policies, ethical codes of practice, and legal requirements.

• Promote DP World's values and represent the Foundation positively. Perform other secondary tasks as assigned by the management.

Job Context

The role is performed in community-based settings, often dealing with sensitive social issues requiring empathy, resilience, and discretion. The outsourced Social Worker functions as part of a team, ensuring smooth delivery of program activities in collaboration with internal staff and external service providers. The role requires flexibility to adapt to dynamic program needs and changing community priorities, while maintaining professional standards and safeguarding requirements.

Job Type: Contract (6months)

Salary: 10K AED

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Education & Professional Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.

• Certification in counselling, case management, or social services is desirable.

Experience & Knowledge :

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in social services, NGO projects, or community development.

• Experience working with vulnerable groups, such as children, families, or marginalized communities.

• Knowledge of referral pathways and local support networks.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication, empathy, and cultural awareness.

• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively. • Good reporting, documentation, and IT skills (MS Office).

• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
