Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on, experiencedSenior Electrical Engineerto lead our site operations. In this role, you will be the technical lead on the ground, responsible for managing electrical site activities, supervising the workforce, and ensuring projectsfrom power distribution to high-end lighting and ELV systemsare delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

• Site Management:Lead daily electrical site operations, ensuring installation works (containment, cabling, termination, DB dressing) are executed according to approved shop drawings, load schedules, and project specs.
• Supervision:Directly supervise site supervisors, foremen, and electrical teams (including subcontractors), ensuring productivity, discipline, and adherence to the program.
• Testing & Commissioning:Oversee the testing process (Megger, Continuity, Load Balancing) and manage the Snagging process to ensure zero-defect handovers for power and lighting systems.
• Coordination:Act as the main point of contact between the project manager, Civil/Mechanical teams, and external consultants to resolve technical clashes (e.g., ceiling coordination, riser management) on site.
• Reporting:Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, identifying risks or material delays early and proposing technical solutions.
• HSE Compliance:Enforce strict health and safety protocols (specifically regarding Lockout/Tagout and live power safety) to maintain a zero-accident environment.
• Material Management:Oversee material requisitions (cables, accessories, fixtures) and ensure efficient usage to minimize wastage.

• Education:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience:7+ years of experience in construction/fit-out, with at least 3 years in a similar Senior Electrical Site Engineer role within the UAE.
• Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of LV distribution, lighting control systems, ELV (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Data), and familiarity with local authority regulations (e.g., ADDC/DEWA/Civil Defense).
• Software:Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel. (Knowledge of Dialux or Amtech is a plus).
• Soft Skills:Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage labor and deal with consultants under pressure.
