A wellestablished engineering consultancy in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in electrical design for MEP and infrastructure projects and the ability to manage complete design scopes from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead concept and detailed design for LV/MV systems, small power, street lighting, and ELV networks.

Carry out load calculations, SLDs, cable sizing, voltage drop, and fault level analysis using industry-standard tools.

Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, equipment schedules, and detailed design reports.

Design earthing and lightning protection systems.

Work closely with MEP, architectural, and other engineering teams to ensure full integration across disciplines.

Develop street lighting designs including pole layout, photometric studies (Dialux), and associated control systems.

Prepare layouts for telecom, security, and fiberoptic infrastructure.

Participate in coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Support tender processes through technical evaluations and clarifications.

Ensure full compliance with IEC, BS, NEC, and UAE authority standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

812+ years of electrical design experience within an engineering consultancy.

Strong command of AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), electrical design tools, and MS Office applications.

Proven background in commercial, residential, or industrial projects.

Solid understanding of international standards (IEC, NEC, BS) and UAE regulations.
