Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

MOBCO Group is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our project team in Makkah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising all electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that works are executed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and approved schedules. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in large-scale building or construction projects and possess strong technical and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all electrical works during project execution.
• Review and approve electrical shop drawings, material submittals, technical proposals, and method statements.
• Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, architectural, and other project disciplines.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved drawings.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of electrical works.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Conduct technical reviews and resolve engineering issues during construction.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), SEC regulations, and applicable international standards.
• Prepare progress reports and provide technical updates to project management.
• Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Review project schedules and ensure electrical activities are completed within the planned timeline.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating electrical materials and equipment.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
• Proven experience on large-scale building, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or mixed-use projects.
• GCC/Saudi Arabia experience is highly preferred.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred.
