Senior Electrical Engineer Role – Electrical Design and Project Delivery LeadershipWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities – Electrical Engineering Design, Coordination, And Implementation
- Lead the development of electrical designs and technical specifications for high-rise and complex building projects, ensuring full compliance with client requirements and relevant standards.
- Collaborate closely with structural, mechanical, and architectural teams to deliver coordinated, integrated engineering solutions for all project stages.
- Prepare, review, and validate electrical drawings, calculations, and documentation, resolving any discrepancies efficiently.
- Supervise the implementation of electrical systems on site, maintaining focus on quality, safety, and adherence to all HSE regulations.
- Advise on electrical equipment selection, prepare technical submittals, and provide expert input to supplier, client, and contractor discussions.
- Champion value engineering to optimise electrical systems for both performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, sharing best practices and fostering skills development within the electrical engineering team.
- Report on project progress and present technical updates to project managers, clients, and other key stakeholders regularly.
What You Bring – Senior Electrical Engineering Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 8–10 years experience in electrical design and engineering, with a strong focus on high-rise or complex building projects within a consultancy environment preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of international codes and standards (such as IEC, BS, NFPA, or equivalent).
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, ETAP, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to technical detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities for seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, commitment to mentoring others, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
