Senior Electrical Technical office Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret mechanical design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare, review, and approve shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with the design team, consultants, and other disciplines (electrical, civil, architectural) to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and standards
• Review material submittals and technical datasheets for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Prepare and monitor technical submittal logs, RFIs, and other documentation required for project approvals.
• Provide technical support to the site execution team, including clarifications and alternative proposals.
• Support procurement by preparing material take-offs, technical comparisons, and vendor evaluations.
• Assist in planning and scheduling of mechanical activities with the planning team.
• Ensure cost-effective design solutions and value engineering proposals where applicable.
• Track and report progress, potential risks, and suggest mitigation measures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Major: Electrical
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical office role within the Construction industry.
• Proven experience in MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting).
• Solid knowledge of construction methodologies and project lifecycle in contracting environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other technical drawing software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
