ADA is hiring a Senior Electrician to manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical infrastructure across our facilities, including the head office, hangar, and other contracted sites. This role ensures reliable and safe electrical systems, minimizes downtime, and supervises electrical work in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, install, and supervise electrical wiring, apparatus, fixtures, and safety components (switches, circuit-breakers, panels).
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and safety.
- Perform inspections, troubleshoot malfunctions, and repair or replace defective components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize system breakdowns.
- Supervise other electricians and ensure adherence to ADA policies and SOPs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure timely availability of spare parts for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (E.E.) or relevant vocational training.
- Relevant vocational/technical certifications; a valid license is a plus.
- Minimum 710 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work in confined, hot, dusty, or noisy environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
