Job Summary
The Senior Engineer in the Electrical & Communication Team at Platform Integration is responsible for electrical, communication, and software-enabled integration activities. This role provides technical leadership in test system design, tool development, and advanced data analysis to ensure platform readiness and compliance with verification.
Key Accountabilities:
- Integration Leadership & Planning Manage electrical, communication, and test-system integration planning, task allocation, and execution across platforms and projects.
- Test Tool Architecture & Development Supervise and execute design, development, and validation of software tools, automated test frameworks, and diagnostic utilities supporting integration and testing.
- Verification & Test Strategy Mentor and execute development, review, and approval of ATPs, ATRs, MOCs, and automated test strategies for electrical and communication systems.
- Technical Documentation Preparation and updating of integration, test, and tool-related documentation including ATPs, ATRs, user guides, and test logs.
- Advanced Analysis & Problem Resolution Mentor and execute complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions involving hardware, communication protocols, and software tools.
- Data Analytics & Monitoring Advise on advanced data analysis, visualization, and health monitoring solutions to improve test efficiency and decision-making.
- Project Monitoring & Technical Reporting Monitor integration progress, technical risks, tool maturity, and test readiness, and report status to stakeholders
- Team Supervision & Technical Mentorship Supervise and mentor Engineers in both hardware integration and software/tool development practices.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in electrical, communication, or avionics engineering, preferably in platform integration, testing, or systems engineering environments.
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical power distribution and communication systems.
- Intermediate experience in software development or scripting (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C/C++, LabVIEW).
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553/1760 standards
- Familiarity with test equipment, bench testing, and automated test environments.
