Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Working alongside the Mace planners in developing construction strategies and sequences.
- Acting as the main technical adviser on construction sites for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives.
- Implementing the pre-construction studies through the design and construction phases of projects.
- Assisting in managing and delivering the project.
- Checking the plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
- Managing, monitoring, and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
- Liaising with the subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Communicating with clients and their representatives includes attending regular meetings to keep them informed of the project's progress.
- Overseeing the quality control and health and safety matters on site.
- Preparing reports as and when required.
- Assisting in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
About You
You will have a degree qualification in civil engineering and be a member of a professional body. You have experience in leading hospitality projects across the complete construction stage till the handover of the project.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and be part of a strong, motivated team. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
