Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing QA/QC activities for structural works in oil & gas projects, both at the office and on-site. Ensures all structural fabrication, welding, and installation activities meet project specifications and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform QA/QC inspections for structural fabrication and site erection.
- Review drawings, material certificates, WPS/PQR, ITPs, and quality procedures.
- Monitor welding, fitting, assembly, and installation of structural components at site.
- Support office-based engineering reviews, technical evaluations, and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with oil & gas quality standards and client requirements.
- Review NCRs, follow up on corrective actions, and maintain QA/QC documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, and client representatives.
- Prepare inspection reports and support internal/external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of QA/QC experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Strong expertise in structural, welding, fabrication, and site construction.
- Familiar with AWS, ASME, AISC, ISO standards.
- Experience working with EPC contractors or major oil & gas clients.
- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
