Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Estimator Engineer (Civil) at Mac Construction, located in Heliopolis. The responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, reviewing project designs and specifications, conducting site visits to evaluate project challenges, and collaborating with teams to develop cost-effective project solutions. You will also manage bid proposals, communicate with vendors and suppliers, and monitor project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in cost estimating, developing accurate cost projections, and project budgeting
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methodologies
- Proficiency in analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving
- Familiarity with estimation software tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team collaboration skills
- Ability to lead projects and work effectively under deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Experience in urban planning projects and knowledge of local building regulations and codes is an advantage
