Job Overview: The Senior Executive Cost Control will be a part of Dubai Holding Group Services and will be responsible for efficiently managing the daily and monthly cost control activities for Dubai Holdings Hospitality division. The role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, particularly in F&B operations, along with expertise in costing systems and F&B product knowledge.

Key Role and Responsibilities:

Daily Operational Controls

  • Ensure Cost Control SOPs are adhered to
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to production transactions
  • Monitor the recording of production transactions
  • Ensure accuracy of daily flash costs
  • Reporting and Monitoring on F&B Costing Variances

Costing & Profitability Analysis

  • Recipe Costing
  • Menu Engineering
  • Perform Cost Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyse Customer and Product Profitability to support strategic decisions
  • Perform Activity Allocations

Inventory & Reconciliations

  • Performing monthly inventory counts and posting
  • Perform cycle / periodic inventory counts
  • Monitor obsolescence, expiration, and rejection
  • Monthly inventory and sales/purchases analysis reports
  • Reconciliation of F&B costs and posting month-end JV
  • Organized filing of records

About you: The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Required: Bachelors degree in commerce or business administration (Finance), with 12 years of F&B Cost Control experience.
  • Preferred: Professional F&B control courses or accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CMA), and experience in hospitality inventory and recipe management.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong command of English (spoken & written)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory systems
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in management reporting
  • Effective team leadership and collaboration skills
