The Keppel Associate Programme is a 2-year programme comprising job rotations, on-the-job training and leadership development opportunities, from which you will build critical business and operation skills, gain commercial exposure and acquire a professional network to embark on a fulfilling and rewarding career with Keppel. This role sits within the Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS), Distributed Energy Resources (DER) department in Keppel's Infrastructure Division. Key responsibilities:
- Identify and secure business opportunities in existing and potential markets.
- Expand new customers and maintain existing customer relations.
- Perform full business development function, including sales, marketing, financial modelling, presenting proposals, and negotiating commercial and contractual terms.
- Understand customers needs by studying site information, conducting site walks and keeping abreast of latest regulatory requirements.
- Work with Engineering and Design, Project Development and Operations colleagues to prepare quality technical proposals.
- Develop financial models and structure commercial proposals for customers.
- Deliver clear and effective presentations to customers and their various stakeholders such as their management and consultants.
- Work with Legal Counsel to draft and negotiate agreements.
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time. Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering preferred or Degree in Business Admin with a minor in Engineering or Double degree in Business and Engineering
- Keen interest in sustainability
- Prior experience in financial analysis, financial modelling will be highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and good team player
- Alignment with Keppel's core values
