Senior Executive - Governance, Risk & Compliance

.JOB PURPOSE

Executes the assigned risk management and compliance work plan by conducting both routine and nonroutine engagements, carrying out risk management and compliance assignments, assessing control effectiveness across MAGRABi operations, and supporting the preparation of related reports.

Qualifications and Education:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or other relevant disciplines.

Certification in GRC or Risk Management or equivalent is a plus.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in risk management, compliance or auditing (preferably in the retail industry).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the execution of risk and compliance related assignments.

Participates in the fraud risk assessment assignment, along with its related reporting and awareness sessions.

Participates in the execution of GRC engagements, ensuring timely submission of relevant documents for approval.

Coordinates and facilitates various meetings, including kick-off meetings, process understanding sessions, and closing meetings for different engagements.

Executes the risk & control registers for assigned engagements.

Participate in drafting engagement reports, encompassing risks, impact, and recommendations, and submitting it for review.

Participates in investigations related to fraud, illegal acts, irregularities, and others, as assigned.

Monitors the time spent on each engagement, compares it against approved performance metrics.
