Role Overview
Whilst working as part of a team, your responsibilities will include planning, directing, and completing audits and supervising staff. You'll work closely with senior colleagues on client engagements, client management and practice development.
Responsibilities
- Running client engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, directing and reporting
- Preparing or reviewing work papers and drafts of the financial statements
- Producing client deliverables, specifically drafting reports for management review
- Taking a part in audit planning discussions to identify audit risks and devise an appropriate audit strategy
- Supervising, training, and mentoring associates and interns on audit process
- Utilizing artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and data visualizations
- Proactively engaging with clients while offering strategic recommendations for improvement
- Staying acquainted to industry trends through regular professional development activities
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Degree qualified
- Completed professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA)
- At least three years of External Audit experience with an international accounting firm
- Have experience of working on complex audits and delegating workloads accordingly
- Comfortable using audit software and Microsoft Office
- Strong technical accounting skills, confident in IFRS
- Experience with group audits is key to success
- Ability to supervise staff and lead projects
- Willingness to work additional hours and travel as needed
