Responsibilities
- Proactive and ability to work independently.
- Design validation of the architectural design in relation to faade.
- Identify / define faade systems suitable for specific project.
- Develop faade engineering and faade access details
- Knowledge in 3D for faade presentation. Basic knowledge in rendering is a plus.
- Attend regular coordination meeting with other disciplines.
- Ability to present faade system ideas to the architect and other disciplines.
- Support senior technical engineer in technical review of the faade engineering design package.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to solve faade issues such as clashes etc.
- Monitor progress and plan project requirements and deliverables ensuring on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture / civil engineering / building construction or equivalent with 5-8 year experience in faade engineering and design.
- Basic knowledge in faade access / BMU design.
- Basic knowledge in faade engineering analysis.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit and Microsoft office.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic knowledge in UAE FLS code, Dubai building code and international codes is a plus.
- Knowledge / high-level of familiarity with building faade systems, materials and construction and implementation.
- Basic knowledge in faade design requirements.
- Only candidates from design consultancy background will be preferred.
