Job Summary

The Senior Facilities Engineer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving all facility systems, including chillers, compressors, HVAC systems, hydraulic systems, mechanical equipment, and utilities. The role ensures reliable, safe, and efficient plant operations to support continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all facility equipment including chillers, compressors, HVAC systems, and utilities.
  • Ensure continuous operation of plant utilities to support production.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and HVAC systems.
  • Monitor system performance, including pressure, temperature, and efficiency.
  • Maintain air compressors, dryers, filters, and compressed air networks.
  • Ensure stable air pressure and overall system reliability.
  • Maintain pumps, hydraulic power units, valves, and piping systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic faults effectively.
  • Analyze MTTR, MTBF, and downtime data for utilities equipment.
  • Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability.
  • Supervise and guide technicians and junior engineers.
  • Provide technical training, coaching, and ongoing support.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers.
  • Ensure contractor work quality and compliance with standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Promote and maintain safe operation of all facility systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Prepare technical reports, performance analysis, and improvement plans.
  • Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
    • 5–10 years of experience in facilities or utilities maintenance within an industrial environment.
    • Strong knowledge of chillers, compressors, HVAC, and cooling systems.
    • Solid understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
    • Experience with pumps, piping, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
    • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and P&ID drawings.
    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
