Role:
The Sr. Service Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the Chillers operate effectively, efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of the Chillers to identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the chillers, such as cleaning and replacing filters, lubricating parts, and checking electrical components.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and diagnose faults, implement corrective action and restore equipment to operational status.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs conducted, including maintaining service logs, updating manuals and providing reports to Midea Partners/Factory as necessary.
- Provide technical assistance to customers on the operation and maintenance of chillers.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials necessary for the maintenance of the chillers.
- Follow all safety guidelines and ensure all maintenance work is conducted safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the maintenance of chillers or similar equipment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and their components.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available for emergency call-outs.
- Fluent English is a must.
- Valid UAE driving license.
