Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Key responsibilities include developing financial strategies, ensuring financial compliance, managing cash flow, and advising leadership on financial performance and risk management. The role may also involve team leadership and collaboration with stakeholders to drive financial growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Leadership

  • Partner directly with founders on financial strategy, business planning, and long-term growth initiatives
  • Act as a key thought partner in decision-making across pricing, expansion, investments, and capital allocation
  • Build scalable financial structures and processes suitable for rapid growth

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across the business
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights on performance, unit economics, and KPIs
  • Prepare board-level and investor-ready financial reports

Accounting & Controls

  • Oversee accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, VAT, and relevant financial standards
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks

Cash Flow & Risk Management

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support fundraising, investor relations, and due diligence processes

Team & Systems

  • Build and lead the finance function as the company scales
  • Implement and optimize financial systems, tools, and reporting infrastructure
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership teams

Qualifications:

  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills
  • Expertise in compliance, risk management, and financial strategy development
  • Proficiency in financial tools, accounting software, and data-driven decision making
  • Leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in high-growth or start-up environments is an added advantage
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance are preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with leadership and stakeholders in strategic financial decision-making
