We are looking for a high skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and safeguard the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of our financial framework.
This is a critical leadership role requiring strong expertise in IFRS standards, DFSA prudential regulations, and robust technical and managerial capabilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in regulatory reporting, financial planning, and ensuring the company operates within the highest governance standards.
Beyond compliance, this position will oversee core accounting functions, manage audits and payroll processes, and provide strategic financial support across departments. We are seeking a proactive leader who can combine technical excellence with sound judgment, strong controls, and a collaborative approach to drive sustainable growth and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the DFSA and other relevant regulatory authorities, managing all regulatory communications and correspondence.
- Prepare and submit all required DFSA prudential regulatory returns (quarterly and annual) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure full compliance with DFSA rules, DIFC financial regulations, and applicable IFRS standards.
- Monitor regulatory capital and liquidity requirements on an ongoing basis.
- Lead and manage the entire audit process in collaboration with external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable & receivable processes, ensuring proper authorization and accurate record-keeping of vendor transactions.
- Review and approve bank reconciliation statements.
- Resolve financial queries and disputes raised by customer service and sales teams.
- Collaborate closely with Compliance, Operations, and HR to provide effective financial oversight and support for internal processes and special projects.
- Oversee and manage the firm's financial projections and annual budgeting processes.
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital planning.
- Continuously monitor and manage the company's cash flow and liquidity position.
- Conduct monthly reviews of financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Maintain and periodically update the Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual to reflect regulatory and operational changes.
- Manage payroll preparation and processing, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ensure timely payment of salaries and all statutory contributions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- A recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 57 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within a DFSA-regulated or DIFC-based organization.
- Demonstrated experience in financial audits, budgeting, and regulatory compliance reporting.
- Strong expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and DFSA prudential reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated experience with the ability to oversee and manage the financial operations of a group or multiple entities
