Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Finance Manager to oversee the global financial operations of WG Cards, including strategic financial planning, accounting and compliance across our global offices.

This is not just a transactional finance roleyou will be a key strategic advisor to the leadership team, providing actionable financial insights to guide business decisions, optimize profitability, and manage risks. You will lead a lean and competent finance team, streamline financial processes, and ensure alignment between financial strategies and business goals in the dynamic gaming and digital content industry.

You will combine strong financial leadership skills with deep knowledge of global accounting standards, cross-border tax regulations, and industry-specific financial challenges to drive operational efficiency and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, providing insights to support business expansion, investment decisions, and profitability optimization.

Global Financial Operations: Oversee end-to-end financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting across regional offices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, mitigating financial risks and supporting audit processes.

Business Partnership & Strategy: Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership teams to align financial strategies with business objectives, support new market expansion, and evaluate business opportunities.

Requirements

Financial Leadership Experience: 68 years of finance experience, with 23 years in a managerial role, preferably in the gaming, digital content, consumer electronics, or global distribution industry.

Technical Financial Expertise: Deep knowledge of IFRS and cross-border accounting practices; proficiency in financial tools and systems.

Global & Industry Acumen: Familiarity with cross-regional tax regulations, international business operations, and financial challenges specific to digital content monetization and hardware distribution.

Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, operations, and leadership teams.

Analytical & Strategic Mindset: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights, and a strategic mindset to support long-term growth objectives.

Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly preferred.
