Senior Accountant Real Estate
Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a mandatory real estate background to oversee core accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and cost governance. The ideal candidate must be Arabic speaking and capable of supporting financial control functions within a real estate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly closing process and preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Support budgeting, cash forecasting, and working capital management
- Ensure Tax & VAT compliance and coordinate external audits
- Oversee AR/AP functions and monitor cash flow
- Govern facility management costs and monitor operational expenditures
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage across assets
- Maintain appropriate provisions for community/project CAPEX
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 810 years of experience, including exposure to real estate accounting (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and ERP systems
- Arabic language proficiency (mandatory)
- Audit firm background preferred
- Professional certification (CMA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA) is an advantage
