RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Duties:

  • Support in the development of monthly/quarterly/annual/5-years and long-term business planning process
  • Develop and/or maintain dynamic financial models projecting 5 to 10-year financial statements.
  • Assist development of annual budgets
  • Assist in re-forecasting exercise and maintain cash flow forecast.
  • Assist in the 5-year Capex plan cycle and Profit optimisation.
  • Support providing financial reports with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance.
  • Coordinate with respective departments to manage all the data sets for timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting.
  • Use ERP and business intelligence tool/s to extract and analyse data for financial analysis and management reporting.
  • Assist in dealings and negotiations with banks for debt raise, and the subsequent documentation and cash flow management
  • Play a key role in the implementation of the upcoming Corporate Income tax
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance per school /business unit, providing trends and developing forecast models
  • Organize and file key business documentation and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Specific Duties:


  • Develop detailed business plans and financial models for budgeting and re-forecasting exercises.
  • Prepare annual budgets, long-term plans and rolling forecasts.
  • Prepare and update key company financial and operational information.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance
  • Professional Degree in Finance MBA/CA/CPA/ACCA

Minimum Experience:


  • 5 to 8 years

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:


  • Business Capabilities
  • Advanced Excel skills with proven financial modelling experience.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and hands-on experience in MS Office presentations
  • Strong presentation, reporting, and communication skills
  • Experience in the Education sector is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with business functions to collect input required for analysis.
  • Ability to be detail-focused when required whilst maintaining sight of the big picture.
  • Deadline-oriented and take ownership of work

  • Develop and/or maintain dynamic financial models with sensitivity and scenario analysis projecting 5 to 10-year financial statements
  • Assist in financial due diligence work for M&A transactions
  • Assist in dealings and negotiations with banks for debt raise
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance per school /business unit, providing trends and developing forecast models
  • Provide input to key macro-economic data such as market benchmarks and demographic statistics, that are used as regular inputs to feasibility studies and business plan

Specific Duties


  • Develop detailed business plans and financial models
  • Prepare advanced presentations, reports and market studies
  • Assist in Financial Due Diligence
  • Prepare and update key competition information

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in real estate, business, finance or engineering
  • CFA preferred

Minimum Experience


6 years
