About the Role:
The Financial Controlling Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and controlling activities for the organization. This role supports effective decision-making by ensuring accurate financial data, transparent reporting, budget control, and compliance with internal policies and external requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling activities to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, performance analyses, and management information for relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor costs, revenues, budgets, and financial performance, identifying risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, reporting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in coordination with finance and accounting teams.
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and controlling tools to improve transparency and efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business performance and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial planning, reporting, and controlling matters.
- Promote continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting quality.
- Submit scheduled reports and documentation to supervisors or line managers as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, or a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance management.
- Good understanding of compliance requirements, internal controls, and financial governance standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on process improvement, operational efficiency, and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in diverse, intercultural teams.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams; experience with relevant finance systems is an advantage.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
